Teaching the practicalities of the work, as well as good conduct, responsibility, and smart business, morning theory
class is the basis of the training. In the afternoon, practical work begins with the trainees receiving hands-on training in their
field. Often, the STC will receive orders from other institutions, such as local schools, and sometimes our own Marianist brothers. It is in this fashion that the boys learn the most. With a variety
of work coming to the STC, the training syllabus grows with
each new order.
