Most children are introduced to REDS by staff in the field, spending much time on the streets of Bangalore, meeting with waste picking children. Street presence is an integral component of our work with the youth. Presence on the street helps develop and maintain a regular relationship with the child, so that in the course of time, they can be incorporated into either our preventative or rehabilitative programs.
